Peach - Alboplena Prunus persica

Prunus persica 'Albo Plena' is a cultivar of the Prunus persica species, commonly known as peach or peach tree. 'Albo Plena' is a double-flowered variety of peach tree, known for its profuse and showy double white flowers that cover the tree in spring, creating a stunning floral display.

The 'Albo Plena' peach tree typically grows to a height of 8-12 feet (2.4-3.7 meters) with a similar spread. It has a rounded canopy with dense foliage, featuring ovate leaves that are serrated along the edges. The leaves are typically green in color and turn yellow or orange in the fall, adding to the tree's seasonal interest.

One of the main features of Prunus persica 'Albo Plena' is its flowers. In the spring, before the leaves emerge, the tree produces an abundance of double white flowers that resemble roses or carnations. The flowers are usually fragrant and may attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. The profuse blooming makes 'Albo Plena' a particularly striking tree during the springtime when it is in full bloom.
