The plant typically grows to a height of 1-2 feet and has a similar spread, with a weeping growth habit. The leaves are long and narrow, with a deep green color and a glossy sheen. In the late summer or early fall, the plant produces spikes of small, lavender-blue flowers that rise above the foliage.
