Eucalyptus Lehmannii

Transform Your Garden with One of Australia’s Most Dramatic Native Trees

Add an extraordinary focal point to your landscape with Eucalyptus lehmannii, commonly known as the Bushy Yate. Renowned for its bizarre, finger-like flower buds that fuse into dense, claw-like clusters, this small Australian native tree bursts into vibrant greenish-yellow blooms that nectar-seeking birds absolutely adore.

Whether you're building a coastal sanctuary, a water-wise native garden, or seeking a dense visual screen, Eucalyptus lehmannii delivers year-round structure, privacy, and architectural beauty.

Why You’ll Love the Bushy Yate:

• Unforgettable Blooms: Giant, fused flower bud clusters open into stunning pale yellow/green flower heads in spring and summer.

• Magnet for Wildlife: Draws honeyeaters, native bees, and butterflies straight to your yard.

• Compact & Bushy: Growing 3 to 6 meters (10–20 ft) tall, it forms a dense, rounded canopy right down to ground level—ideal for windbreaks or privacy hedges.

• Tough as Nails: Exceptionally drought-tolerant once established and handles salty coastal breezes with ease.
