Pyrus nivalis, commonly known as the Snow Pear tree, is a species of pear tree native to parts of China, including the provinces of Gansu, Henan, Shaanxi, and Sichuan. It is a deciduous tree that can grow up to 10 meters in height and has a spread of about 6 meters.
The Snow Pear tree is known for its beautiful white flowers, which bloom in early spring and are followed by small, greenish-yellow fruits that ripen in late summer to early fall. The fruit is edible and has a slightly tart taste.
