Acer palmatum Dissectum Seiryu

Acer palmatum dissectum 'Seiryu,' commonly known as the Japanese Laceleaf Maple or Green Filigree Lace, stands out with its unique combination of finely dissected foliage and upright, vase-shaped growth habit. Belonging to the Sapindaceae family, this cultivar features lacy, bright green leaves that delicately unfold in spring, creating a striking visual effect. Unlike traditional laceleaf varieties, 'Seiryu' grows upright, adding a vertical element to the garden. In fall, the foliage transforms into vibrant shades of red, orange, and gold, providing a stunning autumn display. With its architectural elegance and multi-season interest, 'Seiryu' is a prized choice for both traditional and contemporary landscapes.
